"Seventh is not acceptable at this club. We're not happy with seventh"

Wednesday night's 1-0 victory over Fulham, courtesy of John Pantsil's own goal, lifted the Reds to their highest position in the table this season but Gerrard and insists they have to improve.
Three months ago they were in the relegation zone after a disastrous start under Roy Hodgson but the return of Kenny Dalglish nearly three weeks ago has sparked a change at Anfield.
Liverpool are now within six points of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur but Gerrard has warned the squad not to rest on the laurels.
"We want more than seventh, seventh is not acceptable at this club," he said.
"If you look where we were a couple of weeks ago, of course we're happy being seventh.
"But we've got Stoke next and it's important that we keep this run going and try to get another three points and move up the table even more.
"We're not happy with seventh."
different coaches
Wednesday night was Gerrard's first match since his sending-off 32 minutes into Dalglish's return for a second spell in charge, the FA Cup third-round exit against Manchester United.
And although suspension meant he was not involved in the intervening fixtures the 30-year-old midfielder has noticed the change his boyhood hero Dalglish has brought about.
"Training has been slightly different, different coaches (former Chelsea assistant manager Steve Clarke was recruited) coming in with different ideas and different methods," he added.
"The training over last couple of weeks has been very enjoyable and I think the lads are taking that out there.
"Certainly at Wolves we played with freedom and the lads were superb."
